Autumn on Bainbridge Island

Pumpkin spice lattes and the changing leaves tell us that autumn is officially here on Bainbridge Island! From spooky Halloween fun and a Day of the Dead to wine, art and music, celebrate fall with some fun, not-to-be-missed events.

Super Squash Scavenger Hunt   |   Now – October 31

An autumnal tradition is back at Bloedel Reserve, as visitors have an opportunity to explore pumpkins and other squash in a range of colors, shapes and textures. Be sure to pick up a special map so you can find all of the squash hidden upon the grounds.

Winesgiving & Cranberry Wine Release   |   October 20

Fletcher Bay Winery presents their second annual Winesgiving event, with the release of a delectable cranberry wine, a pie baking contest and live music. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to North Kitsap Fishline.

Community Celebration: Día de Muertos   |  October 27 – November 4

Join Bainbridge Island Art Museum on Saturday, October 27th for an opening presentation and public remembrances with face painting, papel picado and tissue paper flower activities. The ofrenda altar will be open to the public from 10am to 6pm through November 4th.

Within/Earshot Jazz Festival   |   October 7 – November 2

The Bainbridge Island Art Museum brings back the popular Within/Earshot Jazz Festival in partnership with Earshot Jazz. It offers a powerful and immersive experience for music lovers of any age with club-style concerts, lectures, an orientation gallery and more.

First Friday Art Walk   |   November 2

On the first Friday of every month, the Island arts scene comes together to showcase vibrant pieces of art in a variety of mediums. Businesses open their doors for good food and company, as residents and visitors stroll downtown Winslow. Be sure to stop by RSIR!

EMERGENCE   |   November 10 – 11

Bainbridge Island Symphony Orchestra presents EMERGENCE, a set designed to comfort, welcome and delight the audience with a soothing and warmhearted score followed by Nathan Chang’s performance of Cello Concerto in E minor and a closing number of Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D Major.
